MERRY CHRISTMAS!

Det doftar jul i köket!  Smell of Christmas in kitchen!

Old Swedish recipe


50 gram yeast, 2 deciliter sugar, 2 packets of saffron (1 g), 150 gram margarine (better with butter), 4 deciliter milk, 14 deciliter flour. Filling: 2 tablespoons butter, 2 tablespoons sugar, 2 tablespoons chopped almonds.



Dissolve the yeast in some sugar, saffron let soak in milk. Melt butter, add the milk and heat to 37 degrees (luke fingerwarm) Mix everything, operate smooth dough, let rise 1 hour.



Share into three parts. Roll out, spread over butter, sugar, almonds. Roll up. Cut … right, left.



Let rise 20-30 minutes. Brush with egg. Bake 20-30 minutes. 200-225 degrees C.  20 min./






Gammalt svenskt recept

50 g jäst, 2 dl socker, 2 paket saffran (1 gr), 150 g margarin (bättre med smör), 4 dl mjölk, 14 dl mjöl. Fyllning: 2 msk smör, 2 msk socker, 2 msk hackad mandel.

Rör ut jästen i socker, låt saffran dra i mjölk, smält smöret, tillsätt mjölken, värm till 37 grader. Blanda allt, arbeta degen smidig, jäs 1 timme.

Dela tre delar. Kavla ut, bred på smör, socker, mandel. Rulla ihop. Klipp…höger, vänster. 

Jäs 20-30 minuter. Pensla med ägg. Grädda 20-30 min. 200-225 grader. 20 min.
